About us...... We joined AMWAY on 9th June '03 and we got married in July'03.
i'm still alive
12.26.05 (4:54 am)   [edit]

It's been a while since my last entry... Well, been busy with life in general. A lot of things has happened... A lot of challenges n obstacles tht we had to face... But I guess all tht make life more interesting and make us more wiser... Business wise, doing good.. Ups and downs is normal rite? What's important is that we never give up and keep helping more and more people, and one day we shall achieve whatever goal we have set...

scary or what?

PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE BELOW OR EQUAL TO 5

A dentist's wife has a tumor in her uterus and need to remove it. Her
doctor
told them the  p ossible cause of his wife's. Tumour is by some chemical
which only affecting women. The chemical mainly find in plastic water
bottle. It is not the water that affecting you but the chemical
releasing
from the bottle.

You must check on the bottom of the bottle there is a triangle sign and
there will be a number on it. Make sure the number is higher than or
equal
to 5. Then this bottle is safe to use. Whatever number under 5 will
release
the chemical.

For most bottle water, the number is 1. Remember to check and stops
reuse
those bottles.

Well wisher.

Setting goals....
09.02.05 (11:14 pm)   [edit]
Goodday all,
Setting
your goals
By Tania Regis

WITH the dawn of every new year, resolutions are made, goals are once again set and, sometimes, promises broken. Although many people shy away from making resolutions because they're usually forgotten after a while, setting goals and achieving them, however, is what makes our existence more meaningful.

If you feel that some goals you had set  were not realised, remember, as life doesn't end and begin each year, we should keep working on achieving our goals.

* How to achieve your goals
1) Create a desire: Ask a person what his or her goal is and you're likely to hear a list of things they'd like to achieve or do. But ask how many of these people truly desire achieving their goals, you'd likely get some answers to just how serious people take their goals. Goal-setting experts say that to achieve a goal, one must first actually whole-heartedly desire the goal.

2) Be realistic: Goals that are set, however, must be realistic and within reach with hard work. Setting a goal of wanting to own a Ferrari with an annual income level that would not even suffice for a down payment is definitely unrealistic. You can also make your goal more realistic by adding details to your goals. For example, if you want to buy a "new house", be more specific of what type of a house you want to own.

3) Believe in yourself: Nothing is more important than believing in yourself and in your goals. Only those who are strong willed and consistent in pursuing their goals will see them getting realised.
4) Write the goals down: Just like not writing a grocery list and heading to the store can see one leaving the store and forgetting some items, not writing one's goals down equals to either forgetting them or not achieving them at all.

5) Review goals: Just like we need reminders of what needs to be done around the home or at work, our goals need constant reminders, too. We have to periodically refreshen our memories of the goals we've set to achieve. Sometimes, we may even need to revise our goals when circumstances change. However, never think of the change in your goals as a failure as we may sometimes need to make changes to fit the circumstances.

6) Work on the goals: Desiring a goal, writing it down, and constantly reminding ourselves of our goals all amount to nothing if we don't have a plan of how we're going to achieve them. Look at what you need to work on more or what you may even need to give up in working on your goals. Make the move.

7) Set a deadline: Just like projects we work on that come with deadlines, our goals become more achievable when we set a deadline on when we want to see the results.

8) Visualise the results: The power of visualisation has been recorded in many success stories. Successful people say that visualising their goals helps drive them to make their goals a reality.

9) Never give up: All success stories happen because of persistence. If everyone was to give up after just one attempt, the world would not have witnessed the many advances that we now enjoy and even take for granted. In our life's journey, we will come across many obstacles and only persistence to carry on and realise our goals will see that we become a success.

Iatrogenic death- dun blame the mosquitoes!
08.27.05 (3:28 am)   [edit]
I was awaken this morning at 6.20am by hubby’s phone, received sms from Z’s friend…. Z passed away at 2.45am…. We were so shocked… I also got sms from the friend… I sms those who in KL who knew arwah… Michelle called me at 7.30am… She said apparently arwah has been to the doctor 3 times, prolonged fever. But the stupid doctor didn’t even do a simple blood test. What a careless mistake by the doctor!! Arwah himself called the hospital to be hospitalized after 3 visits to the doctor… My God, another death by medical error???? (in USA, iatrogenic death is 783,936 ie. death causes by medical errors – Ray D, Strand- Death by Prescription) A simple blood test could have saved him…But saying that, not all doctors are bad... There are some good doctors out there n those who are againts medicine/drugs... A lot of doctors today are too commercialised and blinded by the money they make by prescribing drugs to their patients *shaking my head* I know a few doctors who are really2 good and actually using alternative theraphy to treat diseases without using drugs... So friends, if you have fever that keeps coming back, ask for a blood test!!! Don’t wait till it’s too late…… He was a friend to all of us... I got to know him just a few months ago and only met him twice... Now no one to call me 'sifu'.... We gonna miss u... Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat and ditempatkan dikalangan orang2 beriman…

Our right to be rich
08.08.05 (12:41 am)   [edit]

I had a really great weekend... Went for a business expansion seminar in Awana, Genting. Met other friends there... It was a very inspiring seminar... I sure learned a lot... Very emotional this time esp after seeing all those videos and listening to all those great speakers.... Came down from Genting feeling all motivated... My thoughts...I want to be rich. I believe we have the right to be rich... I dunt think it's wrong to be rich as some people might think... Rich people always been portrayed as bad and the poor as the good ones esp in movies and in society also... Maybe it's the way how people gets rich that make society think that way... I want to be rich the right way, not by cheating people etc And I believe I've found the way that I can be rich... InsyaAllah in a few years time all my dreams will come true... It's nice to be rich... Yes money is not everything but everything needs money... And I know I can help so many other people as well.... Whatever the mind can perceive and believe, it can achieve... I know I can!!!

E.Funkhouser
06.13.05 (1:19 am)   [edit]
2nd June me, Mich and Sheirly went to Sheraton Subang for the E.Funkhouser rally. It was a great event. Eddie Funkhouser himself came. Eddie Funkhouser has worked for over a decade in the beauty industry as a professional make up artist and designer and creative consultant. During that time, Eddie actively participated in all aspects of the beauty business – from product development, marketing and merchandising to the development and implementation of global training programs.

Eddie’s bold make up artistry spans all media, both in the U.S. and around the world. His innovative work has graced the pages of Vogue, Blackbook, Surface, Nylon, Taiwan Vogue, among others. He has made personal appearances in such key markets as The U.K., Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Germany, Australia,New Zealand and The United Arab Emirates that were covered by local media outlets.

In television, Eddie gained mass exposure on MTV’s smash hit series Mission: Makeover in the U.S., as well as 60 Minutes in Australia. Also, Eddie’s signature style of make up has been utilized by such esteemed fashion designers as Armani, Todd Oldham, Champol Siermont, Louis DiCarlo, Deborah Brand and others.

While Eddie enjoys success in virtually all areas of the beauty industry, his focus has always been on making women feel their absolute best. He is dedicated to helping women connect with their inner star qualities. By getting in touch with their true light, Eddie believes that women can achieve whatever they want to in life.

Eddie’s latest make up endeavor, E. Funkhouser™ New York, sets a new benchmark for the luxury color cosmetics category. The E. Funkhouser™ New York line features stunning, trend-defining colors, professional-grade formulas and exquisitely designed components, all presented in a revolutionary fashion. Eddie’s New York-based company,Eddie Funkhouser Beauty LLC, provides groundbreaking creative and product development services for emerging beauty brands.

It was indeed a great opportunity to meet Eddie in person. He did demos on 3 models. I was so impressed with the versatility of the products. For instance, u can mix the clear lip gloss with the body glitter to apply on the lips. The range also has the higlighting and contouring kit. E. Funkhouser New York Contouring Powder lends definition to the face for a slimmer, more defined look while the Highlighting Wand provides a professional touch of brightness to the face.

I love all the products. I've used them and they are so easy to use and easily applied. And most importantly the makeup stays on and can last the whole day.

At the end of the rally, we get to meet eddie in person and took photo with him. He's so nice and friendly. It was definitely a nite to remember

say no to panadol
03.28.05 (2:52 am)   [edit]

Side Effects Of Panadol

Pls read and warn parents about panadol
(paracetamol)......

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT
engineer, as the hospital
is planning to set up a database of its patient. And
he knows some of the
doctor quite well. The doctors used to tell him that
whenever they have
a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL
(PARACETMOL). In fact,
they will turn to Chinese Herbal Medicine or find
other alternatives. This
is
because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms
the liver. According
to the doctor, Panadol will reside in the body for at
least 5 years.

And according to the doctor, there used to be an
incident where an air
stewardess consumes a lot of panadol during her
menstrual as she needs
to stand all the time. She's now in her early 30's,
and she needs to
undergo kidney dialysis every month.

As said by the doctor that whenever we have a
headache, that's because
it is due to the electron/Ion imbalance in the brain.
As an Alternative
solution to cope with this matter, they suggested
that we buy 1 or 2 cans
of
isotonic drink (eg.100PLUS), and mix it with
drinking water according to a
ratio
of 1:1 or 1:2 (simply, it means one cup 100 plus,
one cup water or 2 cups
water).

Me and my husband have tried this on several
occasions, and it seems to
work well. Another method will be to submerge
your feet in a basin of warm
water so that it bring the blood pressure down from
your throbbing head. As

Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you
take, the lesser would be
your threshold for pain (your endurance level for
pain).

We all will fall ill as we aged, for woman, we would
need to go through
childbirth. Imagine that we had spent our entire ife
popping quite a
substantial amount of Panadol ( Pain Killer ) when
you need to have a
surgery or operation, you will need a much more
amount of general
anesthetic to numb your surgical pain than the
average person who seldom or
rarely
takes Panadol.

If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout
your life
(Migraine, Menstrual cramps) it is very likely that
normal general
anesthetic will
have no effects on you as your body is pumped full
with panadol and your
body
is so used to pain killer that you would need a
much stronger pain killer,
morphine????

The thought is scary enough to turn me to Chinese
Herbal Medicine or
other healthier alternative.

Value your health, value your life, THINK b4 you
easily pop that
familiar pill into your mouth again.

DID YOU
03.21.05 (6:40 pm)   [edit]

Did you say everything you could?
Do the things that you thought you would?
Did it ever occur to you that this could be your final day?
Did you go where you wanted to go?
Learn about what you wanted to know?
Did you ever really give something back instead of always taking in?

Did you find what you’re looking for?
Did you get your foot in the door?
Can you look at yourself and feel proud of all the things you’ve done?
Did you inspire the ones that you knew?
Make a difference to those who knew you?
Did you finally figure out what it is that makes us who we are today?

Don’t waste another day
To know when or will you get by
Don’t waste another day
To do anything you haven’t done

Did you always give it your best?
Is there anything you regret?
If you could have another shot at it all,
Would you do it just the same?

Was it all that you thought it could be?
Are you the person you thought you would be?
Or did it feel like you were spinning your wheels,
Instead of moving forward everyday?

Don’t waste another day
To know when or will you get by
Don’t waste another day
To do anything you haven’t done

Did you? [4x]

Don’t waste another day
To know when or will you get by
Don’t waste another day
To do anything you haven’t done

Did you? [8x]

Double Diamond Ricky Ng
03.21.05 (6:06 pm)   [edit]

Last nite went to PWTC for Double Diamond Direct Distributor Ricky Ng's recognition nite. Ricky Ng grew up in a large family with many siblings and ended up with minimal education. Although his family was poor, he had faith he would have a good future. In 1979, he made a crucial decision that changed his life. He decided to join Amway. He worked hard and persevered. Three years later, he qualified as Diamond Direct Distributor, setting the record as the youngest Diamond in the Amway world in 1982. He believed that in life, we should continuously set higher and bigger goals. This is how he pushes to continuously improve himself. Achieving greater result will bring greater motivation and achievements.

His speech last nite was so great, very motivating... "no money, no honey"... "make more money".... "dunt be like sugar cane, being pressed so thinly by the machine"....

I'm alive! :P
03.13.05 (10:29 pm)   [edit]

EDC Recognition- Johnny n Vivian Ooi
10.23.04 (6:47 am)   [edit]

Last nite went to PWTC for Johnny and Vivian Ooi's EDC recognition, despite the very2 heavy rain n traffic jam I made it there (safely). And also just have to berbuka puasa with plain water in the car! tht's my commitment towards tis business....

Anyway it was a great recognition, the hall was damn packed. Coz a lot of ppl flew in from Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. A lot achievers being recognised last nite. I keep telling myself, if they can do it, I CAN too!!

Johnny n Vivian's speech was short but a lot of wise words from them. They have 2 crown ambassadors, more than 5000 direct distributors and 100 Diamonds in their organisation! And the have build amway business in 13 countries- Canada, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, China etc... Isn't tht great and tell you something abt Amway? It's such a great business, no boundaries n limitation... The only limition is ourselves...

Johnny said, just focus on AMWAY, dunt listen to others (MLM)... Once he was offered by other MLM to join their team but despite the big pay he refuse it and stick to Amway...

We can loose a friend, we can loose our possession, but once we loose our 'name'...tht's the end of it, we loose everything... Remember that....

He shared a lot of good points last nite, so make sure u listen to his CD when it's available from Amway soon...

Honey Rally with Steve Lyttle
09.30.04 (12:06 am)   [edit]
Me, Shah, Michelle, Tyler, Aunty n Uncle went for a honey rally last nite at Holiday Villa.. The presenter was Steve Lyttle from Honey Valley, Timaru, New Zealand. It was a great event. Steve enlightened us about the history of world beekeeping, history of Honey Valley and the bees products. It was interesting to know abt the work and life cycle of bees. Did u know that the Queen bees are made not born. They were only fed with Royal Jelly.. So only the Queen gets the best ehehe So all u ladies out there, take more royal jelly ehehe Anyway the Queen lays all the eggs and she can lay between 1200-3000 eggs per day... 80,000 bees live in a bee hive and they travel up to 8km to find nectar. 80,000 bees can collect an average of 22kg nectar p/day= 4kgs of honey p/day. Is tht amazing.. Tht shows the power of teamwork... even bees practice it!! I was impressed with Honey Valley. They are recognised as one of New Zealand's more efficient beekeeping enterprises and their production is well above average for NZ. They also produced the best/highest quality manuka honey and active manuka honey. Steve showed some amazing slides on manuka flowers, breathtaking views of NZ, Mt Cook... Brings bck my memories when I was studying in NZ... Miss NZ so much!! And also some close up photos of the bees in the bee hives etc etc.. Bees products are well known for its health benefits to us... And I agree to that coz after taking royal jelly, bee pollen and manuka honey, my skin (face) improved tremendously... :) All in all, it was a great talk last nite... :)

Maximize Your 'ROI' with Networking Thoughts

By Jim Blasingame

In the 21st century, networking is one of the three most important areas small business owners should focus on, along with employing technology and developing strategic alliances.

My definition of networking is "actively making professional relationships, developing and maintaining those relationships and leveraging them for the benefit of all parties."

A Chinese proverb says the longest journey must begin with the first step. So before you can develop a relationship, you first have to meet the other person and establish a basis for future contact.

Examples of networking opportunities are everywhere you turn—at Chamber of Commerce events or any venue likely to be attended by business people and community leaders.

But before you enter a networking environment it's important to understand that successful networking is an acquired skill, like playing golf. In fact, we could actually take a lesson from those who seek the little white ball.

Good golfers address each shot with what are called "swing thoughts." They orient their pre-shot routine, and sometimes the actual swing, around these golf fundamentals, which they believe will help them to make a successful shot.

Inspired by the work of my friend, Andrea Nierenberg, author of "Nonstop Networking," I've created a few "Networking Thoughts," or NT for short, which should help you increase your networking return-on-investment (ROI). See what you think.

NT #1 - Make eye contact.
It' s a terrible mistake to not look into the eyes of the person with whom you are talking. Andrea says we should be able to remember the color of the person's eyes whom we just met.

NT #2 - More ears, less mouth.
This is an old adage, but it's an essential networking thought for most of us. We are more likely to impress someone by our interest in them rather than how interested we think they should be in us.

NT #3 - Smile.
Women are usually better at this than men. But the smile must be genuine, which can be best accomplished with NT #1.

NT #4 - Deliver a firm handshake.
But don't turn a handshake into a wrestling match. And guys, when you're shaking the hand of a lady, your networking thought is that it's the opposite of dancing: let the lady lead. Ladies, that means you should offer your hand first—and give 'em a good squeeze.

NT #5 - Do some research.
If there is someone you want to get to know whom you think you might be seeing soon, go to their web site and look around. If you have a mutual friend, ask her about the person to get a little better understanding of what makes this person tick.

But be careful to use what you've learned very subtly; you don't want to come across like a stalker. By combining this research with NT #2, you'll have an excellent chance of developing a basis for future contact.

NT #6 - Have your elevator speech ready.
Imagine that you get on an elevator with someone who asks you what you do before you ask him. Can you deliver a short, concise and intuitive response before either of you gets off the elevator? Wherever or whenever you're asked this question, make sure you're ready. And then, follow your little speech with a sincere inquiry about him, with NT# 2 in mind.

NT #7 - Successful networking benefits all parties.
Reread my definition of networking, with emphasis on the last clause. If you enter any networking opportunity with this attitude, instead of a "What's in it for me?" attitude, your networking ROI will increase exponentially.

Here's another way to think of NT #7. It's from my friend, Ivan Misner. Ivan says simply, "Givers gain."

Write this on a rock - For maximum return on the time you invest in your business, practice and employ your NTs, especially NT# 7.

Be a leader
08.11.04 (9:06 pm)   [edit]

Yesterday our normal training session. I did sharing on Detox n Slimming Prog. Not many ppl came, Dr Aziz was there so he gave us a talk on leadership. It was a very good talk. For me he is a very wise guy, whatever he said really true and make sense.

Leadership- Dr Aziz

1.Self confident - we have to know and believe in what we are doing

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ; - we must believe in ourselves

& nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ; - convincing ppl takes time, so dunt give up

2. Selling        & nbsp;  - the greatest fear for most ppl

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ; - change fear to EXCITEMENT

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ; - excitement of the products can create sales

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ; - sell without selling i.e share benefits of product/create

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;   their need/awareness

3. Sales & Mktg Plan    - be master of your sales & mktg plan

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;         & nbsp; - show the plan with enthusiasm

4. Knowledge  &nbs p;     ;       - in product + company

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;         & nbsp; - attend MEETING + READ books to gain knowledge

5. Attitude    ;         & nbsp;   &n bsp;- change YOUR attitude and the whole world change

    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;         & nbsp; - attitude is everything, be positive

Besides that, be a 100% user. Buy from YOUR own shop (pro-sumer), not Giant etc. Why buy brand X when AMWAY has it. When u buy from your own shop, you'll get bonus end of month. But buy from Giant/other supermarkets, get nuthing but cheated. Cheap things are not good and good things are not cheap. be a pro-sumer and make YOURSELF rich not make Giant/other supermarkets richer! !

diamond- chua kok boon & alice heng
06.27.04 (8:35 pm)   [edit]

At first, Diamond Direct Distributors Chua Kok Boon & Alice Heng signed up as Amway Distributors to oblige their sponsor. He was a general manager of a developer company while she a businesswoman/interior designer. They realised the great potential of the Amway opportunity and the importance of having a back-up plan in life after attending a centre meeting held by Crown Ambassador Direct Distributors Peter Lee & Choi Kit.

They were determined to achieve financial security through the Amway opportunity. Their effort and commitment paid off when they qualified as 12%-ters in September 2001, Silver Producers the following month, Gold Producers three months later and Direct Distributorship in March 2002, for which they were invited to attend the exclusive Amway Leadership Seminar to South Africa.

With Alice’s encouragement, he resigned from his job in August 2003 to concentrate solely on their Amway business. After only six months, they qualified as Sapphires followed by Emeralds and Diamonds in March 2004 – less than a year after venturing into the Amway business full-time.

In life, we can choose to wait for things to happen or we can choose to make them happen. We have chosen the latter. We have faith in the Amway business and we believe it will help us achieve our dreams.

HUMAN BODY- DUNT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED
06.24.04 (10:01 pm)   [edit]
I am watching Oprah Winfrey show... This doctor is showing all the human organ... reals one- normal n damaged organs... I tell u, it's a sight I will never forget!!! The lung is the worst, coz ppl I love smokes, that makes it even scary for me... Thinking that their lung looks like that, how they gonna live with a lung like that...doesnt look healthy at all... If only THEY realise that.... Just make me sad!! Other organs also he showed on the show... Even human fats!!! And human penis- showing prostate cancer... Man really gross all these stuffs. But on the other hand... It's like a wake up call.. Make me realised to take care of my body n health even more.... Never ever take our health for granted... Prevention is better than cure!!! Always remember that... And start taking supplements... I cant never live without supplements (not any supplements, I SWEAR by one brand only- NUTRILITE). There are 1001 reasons why we need supplements.... our lifestyle, the food we eat, free radicals, passive smoker- just 2 name a few.... So up to us to make the decision. For me, CHANGE OR DIE!!!! Do u know that HEART DISEASE CAN BE REVERSE? Most of diseases today causes by our lifestyle...and we now can reverse it... BUT most of us are still IGNORANT!! And it's our job as distributor to go out there n share all this with others, educate them, to help them with their health.

On 18 June we went to Chua Kok Boon's n Alice's Diamond recognition in PWTC. It was so great, the hall was full. Lucky we came early so get a good seat, just in front the diamonds... Their stories was so great. Chua Kok Boon was brought up in a poor family. So he worked his way up... At standard 6 he already worked part time cleaning new built houses, and at form 3 he gave tuition for form 1 students! After uni he was an architect. He was a managing director when he left the company to do Amway full time. They were really independent and worked really hard 2 achieved Diamondship in 7mths. I liked what Alice said, anyone can steal her car, phone etc but no one can steal away her DREAMS.... That is so true. If your beliefs and dreams are so strong, no one could ever take it away from u (unless we die la).
